Hey everybody!

Thanks Tom for the news post love and putting the "Summer Rec" Preview on the front page for a bit!

Yeah, just wanted to let you guys know if you haven't seen yet. My pilot project "Summer Rec" has a Kickstarter fundraiser!

The goal is $7,500 by June 7th! AHHH! Not a lot of time! FFFF
If you donate any amount of money, you can see the full 14-minute animatic for the pilot! Not only that, but there's shit tons of other rewards (based on donation amount) including signed DVDs and even having an animated cameo as a Rec student in the pilot! Neato! So yeah, any donation helps, tell your friends if you want. Ya know, if you want.

Your overall look of the characters look very impressive and bring back the 'old school cartoon' look.

I'm curious, how long would this pilot be, and how do you plan to try to pitch this to networks? This looks like it has potential.

(I'm also confused on why it's called "summer rec" lol. Summer Recreation?)

Thanks man, the pilot right now is about 14 minutes, it could be expanded to 22 or shrunk to 11 if need be. I'm going to shop this around when it's completed. I'm gonna go to the Television Animation Conference in Ottawa in the fall, and send it to festivals. It would be incredible if I got some buyers but I'm doing it more of a proof of ability than actually selling it to series right now. Seeing if I can get a job at with it.

Also yup short for Summer Recreation, the very next shot in the pilot reveals that since I made it a surprise for some reason haha
