GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Now you get to see the Edinboro snow. Before you came back to school, we had a storm around New Year's Day. The final measurement was that Edinboro had 45 inches of snow on the ground. My area had 26 but it was still a lot. Some of it melted before you came back, but you seem to be getting it back.

I guess you're gonna major in animation? Two of my friends were in the program and apparently there's a point in sophomore year or something where you pick what you'll do. One did graphic design. One stayed with animation until a professor ruined it for her and then she switched to graphic design. That professor was a woman. I think it was an individual case of them butting heads.

Oh it is unbearably cold outside, the wind chill is in like the -20s right now and we're getting pure powder. There really was a lot, enough to have 10 foot tall mounds in the Lawrence Towers parking lot. A bunch of us ended up building an awesome snow fort :) but somehow it RAINED for 2 days and ruined it. Yeah I've heard of the point where they make you decide, but I'm sure I'll be traditional animation all the way through. The kids who are planning on being 3D animation act like such douches because they act like traditional is inferior and they're just in the class so they can head to bigger, better things B(

the twitch in the cards adds to the FAST ACTION

Yeah I'm kind of happy about how fast-paced it is, it seems even faster than 24 fps.

haha so many people i know just want to do 'game design' and '3d animation' so their reason in being in our mostly 2d intro to animation class is 'i figured getting my feet wet in different types of animation would be good before i ventured into 3d' roflroflroflrolroflorlfofllrorlfofoll flflofllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooo ooooo

i guess it's good if you want to be a 3d modeler specifically but many don't realize for some reason that knowing traditional 2d techniques is far more important than spending a dedicated month or so to learn a piece of software

Yes exactly, they need to get it through their thick skulls that you need to know the fundamentals of 2D before you can be any good at 3D. The funny thing is that none of these 3D kids can draw worth shit HEH.

Have the snow cocks started showing up around Lawrence Towers yet? Sometimes those things used to collapse on their own.

The snow in the parking lot isn't necessarily so bad. What was bad was the day a tree fell and no one could park. I haven't been back to campus since September, so other than the new apartments that are now obstructing what used to be the view from my room in Lawrence Towers, I haven't seen much new.

Surprisingly no snow cocks! I live on the 5th floor so my view is the Highlands apartments but I can see the top 3 or so floors of Baron Forness in the distance. Gonna be moving into the newly renovated Darrow Apartments next semester though.
